Dominion Energy is currently working to resolve a power outage affecting portions of the Town. The outage was caused by a blown lightning arrestor. Dominion reports that power should be restored within the next few hours.

Please note Municipal Court scheduled for September 29, 2025, is cancelled. If you were notified to appear as a juror on September 29, please disregard the notice as the case has been resolved. September 26, 2025 is the last week for Friday garbage service this summer. Garbage pickup will be on Mondays only starting September 29, 2025.

Town Council has approved the advertisement of one (1) vacancy on the Planning Commission. This appointment would fill an unexpired term ending May 31, 2027.
