The Edisto Beach Town Council has scheduled a Goal-Setting Retreat for Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Town Hall Council Chambers. The agenda for this meeting has been posted to the Town's website.

The weather conditions continue to pose issues for our roads. As expected, the roads experienced re-freezing overnight, and the same is expected for tonight (January 23) as the temperatures are expected to be below freezing once again. The National Weather Service has noted that another Cold Weather Advisory may be issued later today. Please keep.....

The Town of Edisto Beach continues to monitor the weather situation and its consequences. Please be safe and stay off the roads. The National Weather Service has issued advisories for hazardous travel conditions and cold weather. Wind chill temperatures are still with us. Due to the anticipated inclement weather, Town Hall will be closed on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Please note three weather advisories are currently in effect for Edisto Beach: Small Craft Advisory until 1:00 a.m., Thursday, January 23; Cold Weather Advisory until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 23; and Winter Storm Warning from 5 p.m., Tuesday.....

The weather is expected to dip below freezing over the next few days with possible snow, freezing rain, and wind chill temperatures. Greatest impacts are forecasted to occur Tuesday through Wednesday. Please be weather aware and be safe during this period. Also, take steps to prepare your home for any freezing temperatures. Please note that late notices for unpaid utility bills will be mailed this week, with a late fee of ten percent (10%) added. The shut-off date for unpaid utility bills is February 8, 2025.
