REMINDER: An informational meeting with the US Army Corps of Engineers regarding the Edisto Beach Coastal Storm Risk Management Project will be held for all interested residents and the general public on Wednesday, November 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Edisto Civic Center.

Please note there was an error in the current Monthly Highlights. The correct date for the Edisto Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Edisto Chamber of Commerce, is Saturday, December 9, at 2:00 p.m. Thank you.

A Vaccine Clinic will be held on November 9, 2023, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Town Hall. The following vaccines will be available: COVID-19, flu, high-dose flu shot for those over 65, RSV, and pneumonia. REMINDER: Election Day voting will be held on November 7, 2023, at Town Hall, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., for the purpose of electing one (1) Mayor and two (2) Council Members.

As a reminder, due to Election Day being held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, the Town Council Worksession will be held on Monday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m. at Town Hall. The Regular Monthly Town Council Meeting will be held as scheduled on Thursday, November 9, at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall. Thank you.

We have been notified that a very limited number of COVID-19 shots (five, to be exact) will be available at the October 12 Vaccine Clinic at Town Hall. A good supply of the other vaccines will be available (flu shot for those younger than 65 years old; high dose flu shot for those over 65 years old; RSV vaccine for those 60 and older; and the.....

Please note we will follow our regular garbage collection schedule on Monday, October 9, 2023. Please have your cans at the road Sunday evening/Monday morning for garbage collection. As a reminder, October 9th will also begin the once weekly household garbage collection on Mondays only.
