The Planning Commission is composed of seven citizen members appointed by Town Council. Terms are for 4 years. Members may not hold any other elected position office in the Town. Additional information can be found under the Planning Commission Code Chapter 62. State law mandates everyone who serves on a planning commission must attend 6 hours of orientation training within the first year of service and the SC Local Government Comprehensive Planning Enabling Act also requires 3 hours of continuing education each year for the same individuals.
