Council approved placing shell sand on the bike path at the street elevation.  This project should be completed within the next two weeks.  Pot holes on Jungle Shores will be addressed at the same time. 

Option 2
Monday, November 11, 2019

Add 125 linear feet of shell sand to the bike path and swale 170 feet on opposite side of road and install 12 HPDE pipes under driveways.  Cost estimated $4,500.

One option is to elevate and pave the bike path at 711 Jungle Shores Road with Type C asphalt of around 165 feet. Cost estimated $11,000.

Staff has researched two solutions to the flooding and subsequent sediment problem on the bike path around the 700 block of Jungle Shores.  Both solutions will be presented to Town Council on November 14, 2019 for guidance.
