The August 2026 Monthly Highlights issue has been posted on the Town's website HERE.

The Town has mailed late notices to utility customers who have not yet paid their utility bill. Please note that water service for delinquent accounts is scheduled to be disconnected beginning August 10, 2026. If you are not yet enrolled in automatic bank draft, we encourage you to sign up by completing the Utility Bank Draft Authorization Form.....

Sampling results have been received for the Town of Edisto Beach, and the boil water advisory is lifted, effective immediately. Residents no longer need to boil water prior to drinking or cooking. We sincerely appreciate the patience shown by our residents as we dealt with this matter. Thank you!

Town Council has approved the advertisement of two (2) vacancies on the Accommodations Tax (ATAX) Advisory Board. One appointment must be filled by a representative of the hospitality sector, and the other is an at-large appointment. Please note the boil water advisory for the Town of Edisto Beach is still in effect. Test sampling is being conducted as per guidelines from the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services, and sampling results should be available on July 14. Until further notice, the boil water advisory will remain in effect. As noted previously, SC DES.....

Due to the loss of power the Town of Edisto Beach experienced yesterday, which led to the interruption of the Town’s water service, a boil water advisory is now in place.
