The Biggert Waters Act will have major impacts on Edisto Beach, as well as other coastal communities across the country. Town Council and administration worked diligently to protect the interests of the residents of Edisto Beach through the Municipal Association of SC, Coastal Coalition and through multiple organizations across the United States and will continue to follow this legislation as H.R. 3370 delays the impacts for a 4 year period.
